Krispy Kreme on Air Asia! YEAYY!!!

Rasanya Air Asia lah syarikat penerbangan pertama di dunia ni yang menyediakan menu donut Krispy Kreme on board! Wahey!!

Baguslah Air Asia ni!

Harga untuk 2 biji donut RM7. Tapi bukan semua jenis Krispy Kreme ada dijual. Cuma 4 jenis ... Chocolate Iced Glazed, Glazed Chocolate Cake, Glazed Vanilla Cake dan Chocolate Peanut Butter. Aik, the famous Original Glaze tarak ka? Hmm...


So, kalau nak dapat 20% diskaun on the doughnuts, kena book awal-awal online. Oh ya..Donut-donut ni mula dijual bermula 1 September ni! Adios....

MELEPASSSS......

Rupanya petua minum Nescafe dan tengok cerita hantu melayu (tengok cerita Histeria!) tak menjadi! Saya terbabas jua malam tadi. Dan oleh sebab itu, maka melepaslah saya dari mendapat tiket murah Air Asia pada musim yang 'hot' iaitu musim cuti sekolah!

Pagi ni, check website Air Asia, hampir semua tiket ke destinasi popular dah jadi mahal dari harga yang diiklankan. Mungkin waktu bukan cuti sekolah dan cuti am masih boleh dapat good deal.

Hmm...takpelah. Mungkin ada hikmahnya! :(

1.00am - JANGAN tidur malam ni!!!

Ingat tak my entry before this pasal Air Asia Sale? Ok, that Sale rupa-rupanya just for local flights...BUT for the International Flights Sale..akan start pukul 1.00am malam (ke pagi?) ni!!!

So, apa lagi, minum banyak-banyak Nescafe malam nanti, dan play vcd cerita hantu melayu, confirm takkan mengantuk! Eheheh.

Just to spice things up...ALL IN FARE (One Way) to London RM479, to Perth, Melbourne and Gold Coast RM149, Bangkok and Jakarta RM49 and many many more destinations. Since there's no Fuel Surcharge and Admin Fee, what you see is what you pay. Kalau return flight, just darab dua je la! Murah murah.

AIR ASIA SALE punya pasal.....

......maka saya adalah amat mengantuk sekali hari ini. Nak menunggu countdown SALE start pukul 12am tengah malam semalam punya pasal.

3 hari sebelum tu dapat e-mail from Air Asia mengatakan yang tepat 12am 10 Ogos, diorang akan buat satu SALE 'better than FREE seats' dan ada 3,000,000 seats up for grab! Fuhh...dengan ayat begitu, mahu tak gigih tunggu sampai pukul 12 semalam! Dan tepat pukul 12am, masuk website AirAsia dengan penuh berkobar-kobarnya..... tiba-tiba, system hang la pulak! Grrrr......

So, tadi check kat website diorang, cuma ada local flights je yang on SALE. Maybe international flights belum lagi kot. Ok lah nak pergi snooze..tak larat nak bukak mata dah.

M.A.S. Travel Fair 2009 - AGAIN!

Wow another travel fair by MAS - the second one for this year! Selalunya MAS buat travel fair sekali setahun je and selalu around February. Ni mesti kes tak ramai yang nak fly because of the H1N1 virus and also the global economic downturn. Tapi baguslah buat DEALS macam ni. At least you attract those who still wants to fly and also compete with other airlines. Yea..MAS is known for its very expensive air fares.

Malaysia (School) Holiday Destinations (Part II)

Masih belum terlambat kepada anda yang masih belum ada idea mana nak bawa anak-anak anda cuti sekolah ni. Nak plan pergi overseas mungkin agak terlambat, so apa kata kita Cuti-Cuti Malaysia - Banyak untuk dilawati, Banyak lagi untuk diterokai. Hehehe. I've just discovered these places over the net today. Actually I've heard about Tiara Beach Resort,PD and Hyatt Regency Kuantan before but never look for details about them. Bila dah tengok websites diorang tadi, hmm....macam not bad jugaklah kalau nak masukkan tempat-tempat ni sebagai alternatif kepada tempat-tempat percutian biasa di Malaysia.

Actually, massive swimming pools dia yang buat Tiara Resort lain dari yang lain plus a great attraction for kids. They have indoor kids playroom too. Room types kat sini kebanyakannya macam apartment style. The smallest is a studio room, then a 2-bedrooms apartment and the biggest is the penthouse. This resort is rated 3-star.

Next stop is the Swiss Garden Resort And Spa.

Swiss Garden Resort Kuantan is a nice discovery actually. Tak pernah tahu pun tentang kewujudannya sebelum ini until somebody said that they actually have a nice clean beach and sesuai bawak budak-budak. They also have a 3/2 nights Family Fun Package that starts from RM588++ in a Deluxe Room which includes Buffet Breakfast and Steamboat Dinner for 2 Adults and 2 Children and many more. Just like Swiss Garden Resort, but from the picture i think they have smaller pool. The beach looks nice from here though. Hehehe. Kids activities macam tak banyak sangat kat sini, besides the so squarish pool and the beach. So apa lagi, start la booking while i will still keep on searching for nicer place to cuti-cuti (if there's any)..Till then, Adios..

Emirates SALE!

Yes people, Emirates is having a SALE! A return ticket to London Heathrow will only cost you RM1,739 nett!! Yea but there's a 4 hours transit time in Dubai..but who cares right. This is first class travelling we're talking about here. Comfort and style, all in. So, sesiapa yang dah bercadang nak book Air Asia tu, mungkin anda boleh fikirkan kembali. Return ticket to London on Air Asia paling murah pun plus tax is about RM1,500.

But to those planning on having a spree this Boxing Day, so so sorry as the offer will only be valid for travelling up to end November 2009 only! Till Then, Adios..

AIR ASIA vs M.A.S.

Ohayo people! I came across Malaysia Airlines Low Fares promotion (again!) this morning in Utusan Malaysia and was quite happy to see a one-way fare to New York for RM1888 all inclusive. Pretty cheap eh? Means a return ticket will cost no more than RM4k! But travelling period up to November 2009 only. Hmm.. The best thing is, they highlighted a single London all-in fare for only RM888! And this get me thinking..are they feeling threathened by Air Asia?? For a single journey to London on Air Asia you can purchase your ticket for as low as RM499! But if you're looking for comfort, then I would definitely suggest MAS...or even Singapore Air. Sometimes SIA do run offers to their destinations and it's quite a bargain. Itu belum Air Asia buat flights to LA or New York! Tapi bagus jugak la kan... we the customers yang untung in the end!

Sebenarnya, kita ada banyak pilihan penerbangan sekarang ni. From Emirates, SIA, Qatar Air or even Gulf Air semuanya boleh dikategorikan dalam first class airlines. So i guess MAS tak boleh nak letak harga yang melampau sangat takut nanti flight kosong! Yang hairannya, lebih baik jual harga tiket murah sikit and biar flight penuh rather than jual tiket mahal, flight tak penuh but u still have to fly to the destination! And one more thing MAS...i really do not understand your Economy+ promo. Kononnya beli tiket ekonomi tapi boleh fly on Business Class. But harga tiket Economy+ tu kurang RM2k dari harga tiket Business Class!! What on earth are you trying to do?

So the conclusion here, MAS you guys have to lower down your ticket pricing in order to compete with other airlines. People now are more budget concious. I've seen people with money still fly with AirAsia, reason being...'setakat 2-3 jam flight bayar less than RM200 berbaloi sangat. Then boleh duduk hotels yang best sikit'. But for long haul flights, entahlah...ada juga dengar komplen yang tempat duduk sempit la, food tak sedap lah. Well nama pun Budget Airline. Siapa yang sanggup menempuh perjalanan 12jam dalam keadaan macam tu, well go ahead. Duit extra boleh guna untuk shopping kan? hehehe.

So to me...shorter distance travelling.. go for Air Asia. Longer distance (more than 10 hours)..go for MAS or SIA or seangkatan dengannya. Till then...Adios!

Malaysia (School) Holiday Destinations (Part I)

Baru terfikir tinggal kurang 2 minggu je cuti sekolah nak bermula. Baru kelam kabut nak fikir pasal destinasi percutian. Mula la visit site, apa lagi kalau bukan 'genting.com.my' and as expected semua bilik dah fully booked. Nak pergi on a day trip rasa macam rushing dan penat nanti. Try jugak Cameron Highlands...tapi rasanya mesti kiddos akan boring. Apa la sangat aktiviti budak2 kat situ selain melawat kebun sayur dan strawberry. Boring boring. Try Langkawi jugak...tapi kalau nak book flight Air Asia last minit macam ni memang la mahal! Tapi tertengok jugak site Meritus Pelangi Resort...cantik la tempat ni. Clean private beach. Then tiba2 teringat Port Dickson. Shorter distance and can save on flight tickets too! Avillion is the first choice tapi weekends semua dah penuh tinggal weekdays je. I've been to a few resorts in PD actually..Corus, Desa Lagoon, Selesa Beach and Avillion. Ada jugak pernah stay kat satu apartment tu tapi dah tak ingat nama. But from all Avi is still the best eventhough tempat parking dia nun jauh berbatu!

So..mana nak pergi ni? Last2 ke Sunway Lagoon jugak la jawapannya! Boring boring. Berjaya Times Square punya theme park pun boleh tahan boring jugak. Just a small park and not too 'small kids' friendly. Rides dia ganas2 la. Takpe, i nak try lagi mana lah tahu tiba2 muncul idea yang best2. Sikit jugak lah kan tempat2 percutian yang boleh bawak budak2 kat Malaysia ni. I mean for them to enjoy. Takpe nak pergi google lagi. Adios...
